Hello hello! I am in LA again, back from Ucross, back in the thick of REAL LIFE with its noise and cuddles and madness and fun and fatigue. While I was in Wyoming I wrote 42 pages (!!!) of a new book, as well as the start of an essay. Of course I haven’t touched either since my return. WTF, Lepucki?! Today I will write. I must!
Returning from a residency always feels like trying to accustom myself to a new atmosphere. How does breathing work on this planet? How does gravity work?
I *did* start reading a novel that I am loving, and that helps…
