Every book I read in 2024

Happy new year! Before I hurtle into 2025, I wanted to look back at the reading I did in 2024. I read fewer books than I did in 2023. This is, in part, due to the election and its attendant distractions and despair. I also stopped listening to audiobooks because I changed my exercise routine from walking to dance class. But I also experienced a sudden intolerance for audiobooks: every narrator annoyed me—and I remain annoyed! I have no plans to pick up that habit in the new year.

Honestly, I’m a little embarrassed to share my 2024 book list because it seems so…uncool? Maybe that’s why this one is behind the paywall. It’s vulnerable!
