Thank you for all the feedback on Monday’s newsletter! It’s so nice to be read by you.

Before I go any further, I wanted to let everyone know that the spring session of my writing accountability group Fuck You, Write Your Pages will begin March 17th. There are a couple of spots open.

Thanks to Chris Daley for making this visual aid for me!

This private group is open to writers of all genres and levels. Each week, I email a private Substack newsletter to all members. In it, I include some guidance, a hot tip, and/or a writing prompt from one of today’s best working writers. Then I ask the important questions: What did you write last week? And what are your writing goals this week? Members then have to post their answers…and I hunt down whoever doesn’t post to find out what’s going on. It’s a weirdly useful structure—you will get shit done!—and it’s a lovely community of kind, smart, hardworking writers.

The cost for the group is $100, which also includes three optional Zoom Study Hall sessions where we meet virtually to write alone/together.

If you’re interested, please email me ASAP at edan.lepucki@gmail.com to snag a spot. Thanks!

Okay, business over with. For today’s Friday post, here are three things bringing me some happiness:

Long live chambray

I used to wear a button-down chambray all the time: I associate the look with living in the Bay Area, publishing California, and, later, writing Woman No. 17 and nursing Ginger (not at the same time). I wore my chambray until it dissolved, and then the look went out of style.
