This November, Patrick and I will celebrate 17 years of marriage, and December will mark 21 years since our first date. In some ways, it seems like a long time to be together, but then I look at people who have been married 30, 40, 50 plus years, and I know it isn’t. There is hopefully a lot more time together!
Solo trips for sure! I’m a former cruise queen. In total I’ve sailed on 42 cruises. I’m thinking 9 or 10 of those were solo...I treasure those times. My husband has gone on solo trips quite a few times...fun for him, fun for me. In March 2024 we’ll mark our 50th wedding anniversary. Oh, I remain glad we had no big wedding. We married in Atlanta, flew our parents in from PA for the “ceremony.” A month later we had a small party in our hometown.
