Here are some capsule reviews of all the TV I’ve been watching lately. I know you’re dying to know what I thought of Dying for Sex!

The Pitt

I won’t describe the premise because if you haven’t seen this show, you certainly know what it is. Sometimes—especially in the first couple of episodes—the writing is clunky and overly expository, but most of the time this is a very well crafted show, with excellent acting and terrific pacing. Noah Wylie is officially in my hot tub. I have taken some time to analyze Dr. Robby’s sex appeal (when I’m not masturbating) and I’ve concluded that his his traditional good looks, frayed and edgy with grizzle, along with the kind authority and confidence that comes with being an experienced and respected head doctor, signal masculinity in the best way. And then, when his fatigue and trauma are revealed, our tenderness is ignited—that contrast between hard and soft is irresistible. Dr. Robby hits so many pleasure buttons for those of who are attracted to men!

(Patrick’s in love with Dr. Mohan, so The Pitt offers something for everyone.)

Also, this show cast my local barista as the dad whose daughter’s hymen never opened.

What a brag!
